Problem
The network wanted to increase customer loyalty by providing its fantasy football participants with near real-time alerts about players on their respective teams. At the same time, the network wanted to leverage this offering to generate additional revenue without creating an internal cost center.
Solution
3Ci integrated the network's fantasy football database with our alerts messaging API. We utilized 3Ci's mobile payments platform to charge consumers a small monthly fee for the alerts using Premium SMS (PSMS). The offering enabled participants to receive late-breaking player news and stats on their mobile phones 24/7.
Results
3Ci's solution increased the network's fantasy football subscriber loyalty with on-the-go access to player news and stats. In addition, it created a new, recurring revenue stream from monthly PSMS payments.
