This person will work closely with the creative team to maintain the corporate website and build sites for clients. Responsibilities will include changing text and graphics, updating information for special projects and events, and assisting with any other ongoing projects. Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a professional web production environment and have proficiency with programs including Adobe Dreamweaver and Adobe Photoshop. Candidate should be proficient editing HTML, familiar with modern web technologies and methodologies including client-side scripting and ajax. Experience in one or more specialized areas such as PHP, database design, and Flash is a plus, but not necessary. Candidates must have excellent communication and organizational skills and have the ability to work well in team in a fast-paced environment.
The qualified candidate will have 3+ years of experience in graphic design with emphasis on production design. Magazine experience is preferred but not mandatory. Must also have expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite 3 (CS3), and a strong understanding of design and typographic principles. Experience with digital prepress/preflight management preferred. Proficient working in a Mac OS X environment. Must have good organizational skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, be attentive to detail, and able to juggle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
