3Cinteractive Introduces Premium SMS Fraud Prevention Tool

Boca Raton, FL (PRWEB) – (2/12/2008) – 3Cinteractive (3Ci) has unveiled its proprietary Loss Prevention Service (LPS™), the mobile industry’s first stand-alone risk and fraud management system or Premium SMS mobile payments in the United States. Until now LPS™ has only been available for clients that use the 3Ci Switchblade™ platform. It is now available to all US mobile content providers, aggregators and application service providers.

“We have built a fast and reliable tool that will reduce the amount of content that is delivered but never paid for,” said Mark Smith, 3Ci’s Chief Operating Officer. “Our team has designed similar systems for online credit card and Automated Clearing House transactions with great success”, said Mr. Smith. LPS™ is a proprietary system that normalizes carrier response codes and builds intelligence from the millions of messages being sent through the 3Ci messaging platforms. “We have seen over a 15% increase in settled transactions since implementing LPS at 3Ci”, says Mr. Smith. Premium SMS content is one of the fastest growing components of mobile marketing in the US.

3Ci Rocks Winter X Games XII

ESPN selected the 3Cinteractive Switchblade™ mobile text messaging platform and in-venue, text to screen application, Shoutbox™ to rock the Winter X Games “go big” event this past weekend in Aspen, Colorado.

On Saturday night, ESPN, EXPN.com, and ABC televised the Snowboard Big Air contest. The debut of 3Ci’s Shoutbox™ text-voting capabilities extended audience participation by empowering the viewer to help judge the outcome of the events. The judging was done in an “American Idol” format with the decision of a presiding judge supplemented by the fans’ votes.

3Ci President Mike FitzGibbon attended the games and was thrilled with the response. “Everywhere you looked people were texting, proving the direct response SMS generates. I’m excited about the future of text messaging as an efficient advertising avail reaching 250 million Americans on a device they carry in their pockets.”

Client Feature: Lincoln Financial Group

In October, Lincoln Financial Group’s Denver Radio Stations 98.5 KYGO and KS 107.5 implemented 3Ci’s Switchblade™ mobile messaging platform to run promotional text messaging campaigns for their Denver stations. The station cluster was looking for new ways to increase advertising avails, sponsorship opportunities, and listener loyalty.

Using 3Ci’s Switchblade™ platform and 3Ci’s patented P1SMS™ application, the stations created text message-based treasure hunt campaigns and contest giveaways advertised in ten second spots during the station identification. The P1SMS™ application, which allows radio listeners to request an interactive radio menu, including the song that is playing, was the perfect way for the station to generate consumer loyalty and create new ad/sponsorship opportunities.

In the first 45+ days of promotion, they generated over 80,000 text messages from approximately 30,000 unique listeners. In fact, 98.5 KYGO and KS 107.5 are adding an Interactive Media Sales person to handle the new inventory of ad avails created by offering text messaging to their listeners.

Marketing Director Dwayne Taylor adds more: “One of the unexpected results from using P1SMS was the added convenience to our listeners. Instead of calling in and waiting on hold, high paced users can send a text message, know it went through, and get on with their life.”
