3Cinteractive is pleased to announce it has partnered with The Institute for Transfusion Medicine℠ (ITxM℠), which operates Pittsburgh-based Central Blood Bank and LifeSource, Chicagoland’s Blood Center. ITxM is the third largest independent blood center in the nation, distributing nearly one million blood products to one hundred health care facilities in four states.

ITxM is partnering with 3Cinteractive to take advantage of mobile messaging and provide donors with more options on how they communicate with the blood centers. For donors who prefer mobile messaging, this may promote more frequent donations and improve show rates of donors with scheduled appointments through mobile alerts/reminders. The ultimate goal for the blood centers is to improve the donor experience by offering more choices of communication and further automate the donor recruitment process.
3Cinteractive has been chosen by the Mobile Marketing Association (MMA) to sit on their Consumer Best Practices Committee. Niki Dunbar, 3Cinteractive’s Director of Service Operations, was nominated for 3Ci’s position on the committee and will represent 3Ci as part of this prestigious mobile industry body. The MMA has developed the Consumer Best Practices Committee — comprised of all four Tier-1 wireless carriers, as well as leading aggregators, and content providers — to formulate a set of guidelines for Cross-Carrier Mobile Content Services.
3Ci is very proud to take such a strong leadership position in an important area of the mobile marketing industry. We believe that our appointment is a compelling testament to 3Cinteractive’s and Niki Dunbar’s extensive reputation as a leader in mobile marketing compliance and consumer best practices. Congratulations, Niki!
3Cinteractive is proud to announce that it is the exclusive sponsor and moderator of the Mobile Marketing Forum’s (MMF) Advertising Agency Panel, held June 2nd & 3rd at the Grand Hyatt New York, located in Midtown Manhattan. The MMF is a semi-annual conference staged by the Mobile Marketing Association that gives brands, agencies, media companies, and other players in the mobile ecosystem a chance to discuss the latest developments and case studies in the mobile industry. The agency panel, which is moderated by Jeremy Martin, 3Cinteractive’s Vice President of Business Development, will focus on the question, “What type of customer engagement is possible through mobile that isn’t possible through other marketing channels?”
This is the second consecutive year that 3Ci has sponsored the Advertising Agency Panel at the New York MMF event — and the second year Jeremy will be moderating the panel — giving 3Ci significant exposure as an industry thought leader before the world’s largest advertising agencies. For more information on this event, or if you would like to attend, please visit the Mobile Marketing Forum online and use coupon code mmfspeaker09 to get 25% off your show registration!
Mobile marketing is the next wave of information technology, but this wave is beyond the unprecedented statistics of response rates and highly targetable databases. Mobile is becoming a requirement for the continued development of user content websites. 3Cinteractive provides a level of service, support, and technology between content providers and the wireless consumers. This position gives us a unique perspective on the development of mobile marketing. The 3Cinteractive Blog is our way of publishing that knowledge, providing our analysis, and having a little fun.
Over the life of this blog, you will hear from several members of our team. Each member of the 3Cinteractive team prides themselves in their particular area of expertise, and I will make sure their voice is heard. As in any growing field, our team is always moving, so I’ve huddled up a small group of regular contributers to keep us moving. Here they are… in order of age (or wisdom).
J. Ainsworth Boyle, Editor and New Media: I will be the most regular contributer to this blog. The majority of my input will draw connections between web trends and mobile trends. I will also cover news events in both of these industries and provide insight from a consumer’s perspective.
