The Jason Taylor Foundation’s JT’s Ping-Pong Smash, the original celebrity, doubles table-tennis tournament, takes place tonight, Monday, December 6th at Hard Rock Live in Hollywood, Florida. 3Cinteractive, a founding partner of the foundation, signed on to be the title sponsor of this year’s event.
This year’s event will have a little twist. With Jason busy chasing quarterbacks for the New York Jets, the Ping-Pong Smash will feature Miami Dolphins Pro Bowl running back Ronnie Brown as its co-host.
This one-of-a-kind event will pair community members with some of the Sunshine State’s most recognizable personalities from the worlds of sports and entertainment, including Brown and many current and former Miami Dolphins players. The duos will compete in a round-robin style ping-pong tournament while raising money for local children’s charities.
3Ci is proud to support the Jason Taylor Foundation and all the commendable programs they fund. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Jason Taylor Foundation and the newly established Ronnie Brown Project.

SFN Group, Inc. (NYSE: SFN), a staffing industry pioneer, who has sourced, screened and placed millions of individuals in temporary, temp-to-hire and full-time jobs for more than 60 years, launched a job alerts text messaging program. This is the first of several phases to enhance the candidate experience to gain quicker and more efficient access to jobs through mobile technologies. SFN Group is partnering with 3Cinteractive to deploy these solutions.

Job seekers can participate in the program if they opt-in to receive text job alerts via the “Job Centers” located on two of SFN’s specialist recruiting and staffing businesses’ websites, The Mergis Group (www.mergisgroup.com) and Spherion Staffing Services (www.spherion.com). In the first two weeks of promoting this new program, the company had nearly 10,000 candidates sign up between these two businesses alone. The program will be rolled out nationally, across all SFN’s family of businesses in early 2011.
“We are very excited to announce this next stage in our recruiting efforts,” said Roy Krause, president and CEO of SFN Group, Inc. “With millions of people carrying mobile devices, texting is becoming a much more efficient and preferred means of communicating for many passive and active job seekers. In an industry where time is of the essence, this form of communicating provides the means to reach a wider and highly targeted audience in a much shorter time span. With studies showing that mobile Internet use is set to outpace PC connection use — it is clear just how powerful this medium is and will continue to be as the technology evolves.”
