3Cinteractive, Pop2Life, and Clear Channel Partner to Promote Katy Perry’s Private Pool Party

Jun. 28th 2009

3Cinteractive recently partnered with Pop2Life, a full service creative marketing, promotions, and public relations agency, and Clear Channel Communications, the largest owner of full power AM, FM, and short wave radio stations for a unique promotion.  Together the three companies launched a contest giveaway featuring singer-songwriter and pop star Katy Perry (singer of the worldwide hits “I Kissed a Girl” and “Hot N Cold”)

The 16-day sweepstakes was promoted on 47 Clear Channel Top 40 radio stations and online.  Radio listeners responded to on-air call-to-action by texting a time-specific keyword to the short code (the entries could also be made at the sweepstakes website).  Due to the popularity of Katy Perry, listener tune-in increased with text-in volume and 90 winners received a trip for two to Katy Perry’s pool party in Miami as well as passes to an advance screening of the movie, “The Proposal”.  The winner of the grand prize received not only a trip for two to Katy’s Private Pool Party at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach and tickets to “The Proposal” screening, but also a trip to Spain for her concert in Madrid.

3Ci Powers Disney’s High School Musical 3 Promotion

Oct. 3rd 2008

3Ci has teamed up with some of the world’s leading brands to help launch one of the largest promotions in US history. In order to promote the upcoming movie High School Musical 3: Senior Year, 3Ci worked with various vendors such as MySpace, Pop2Life, and Disney to support the campaign that MySpace has called its “biggest film campaign yet”. Disney is conducting a high school spirit contest involving about 15,000 high schools across the country that includes a ground breaking mobile component.

High School Musical 3

Each participating high school has its own keyword that its students can text in to earn points for their school.  The school that earns the most points by the end of the contest wins a concert at the high school and a trip to Disney for the senior class.  3Ci’s role in the promotion was building the application that includes the 15,000 keywords, as well as providing the mobile messaging and mobile compliance support for the contest.  3Ci is also responsible for tabulating the points for the mobile voting and integration with a 3rd party reporting system.  The High School Musical contest started in early September and will run through November 2.
