Steve Largent



Few professional athletes have been able to match the tremendous success both on and off the field of Steve Largent. Following a Hall of Fame professional football career as one of the game’s most outstanding pass catchers, Steve launched his own advertising and marketing consulting firm, working with numerous Fortune 500 companies around the country.

Steve also served more than seven years as a member of the United States Congress, representing the First Congressional District. He was the vice chairman of the Energy and Air Quality Subcommittee and served on Subcommittees for Telecommunications, Oversight and Investigations, and the Environment and Hazardous Materials.

After leaving Congress, Steve helped usher in the era of wireless, leading one of the world’s most influential trade organizations. He served as the president and CEO of CTIA – The Wireless Association until his retirement in June of 2014. Steve championed the wireless industry during its time of great growth and continues to be an outspoken advocate.
